Scott Aune is a consultant with ORION with more than a decade’s experience in the financial services industry. He assists clients in developing and monitoring long term investment strategies. Mr. Aune also coordinates ORION’s economic and manager research efforts, and, as a member of the Investment Committee, is responsible for ensuring that all Consultants are apprised of key manager issues and developments.

Mr. Aune earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with concentrations in management and information systems, from Clark University. He has completed the CFP® professional education program of the College for Financial Planning and has earned the industry designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist.

Before joining the team, Mr. Aune was a financial advisor with another prominent financial services firm. He also enjoyed a distinguished military career as a personnel and administrative officer and career counselor with the U.S. Marine Corps and was recognized for his professional achievements.

He is a member of the York and Scottish Rite Masonic Order.
